Here is our first stock we have been watching. We have decided to post this piece which we covered back in November 2009 when the stock was at $0.03. It is now trading at $0.10

Global Market Play
Terra Energy & Resource Technology
TEGR

About the Company
Terra Group of Companies operated in the filed of natural resources with detection, exploration and development. The Company provides exploration services utilizing a suite of proprietary innovative technologies for exploration of a wide range of mineral resources: oil & gas, metals, kimberlites, uranium, water, and other minerals. The Terra Technology Suite is designed to significantly improve the exploration success rate as well as increase efficiency of the exploration process as a whole. The technologies are:

Sub Terrain Prospecting (STeP®) – remote sensing and analytical technology, which interprets satellite, cartographic, and geological data to ascertain hydrocarbon and mineral potential of the area, determine anomaly/structure contours, oil to water contact for hydrocarbon applications, as well as target depth(s). STeP is particularly applicable to large license blocks and areas of difficult access or environmental sensitivity.

Naturally Adsorbed Gas Survey (NAGS) – unique geochemical technology analyzing adsorbed hydrocarbon and nonorganic gases, as opposed to free forms of gases, traditionally used. NAGS is substantially more informative and accurate than other geochemical methods. It works on hydrocarbons, gold, uranium, diamonds, and other metals and minerals.

Side View Seismic Locator (SVSL) – micro-seismic technology designed to determine zones of abnormal or open fracturing. Its distinction is in the processing of scattered waves, as opposed to reflected seismic waves, traditionally processed by the geophysicists. SVSL has an excellent track record predicting drilling locations with highest production rates as well as assisting in well design and avoiding drilling complications. It can work as a seismic reprocessing / interpretation technique or as a field seismic acquisition method.

Seismic Location of Emission Centers (SLEC) – passive seismic technology used to determine the fluid type / fluid saturation, oil to water contact, reservoir dynamics as well as timing and effectiveness of hydraulic fracturing. Numerous applications of the technology proved its efficacy as an inexpensive monitoring tool, extremely useful in producing oil fields.
Principal Business Activity
The Company, through its wholly owned subsidiary, Terra Insight Services, Inc., a New York corporation (“TISI”), provides mapping, surveying, and analytical services to exploration, drilling, and mining companies. Prior to September 2008, the Company offered similar services through Terra Insight Corporation, a Delaware corporation (“TIC”) formed January 7, 2005. The Company interprets geologic and satellite data to improve the assessment of natural resources. The Company provides these services (1) to its customers for a cash fee and (2) pursuant to joint venture arrangements in exchange for oil or mineral rights, licenses for oil and mineral rights, or royalties and working interests in exploration projects. Prior to April 27, 2009, the Company provided these services to its customers utilizing services provided to the Company through an outsourcing relationship with the Institute of Geoinformational Analysis of the Earth (the “Institute”), a related foreign entity controlled by an affiliate of the Company.

Services
The Terra Services are designed to fill in the gaps in the modern exploration process to ultimately make it more accurate, less expensive, and less time consuming compared with traditional geological and geophysical approaches. The Terra Services Suite offers a range of solutions in the disciplines of remote sensing, geochemical, micro-seismic, and passive seismic studies. It is based on the Company’s unique and innovative 3S (Space-Surface-Subsurface) technology suite :

Mainly, the services consist of:
• Innovative remote sensing methods to accurately, effectively, and inexpensively
determine potential anomalies and structures
• Unique geochemical analysis for accurate prediction of hydrocarbon and mineral
potential
• Geophysical data interpretation to determine zones of open fracturing
• Passive seismic application designed to identify fluid saturation in collectors and
reservoir dynamics

The Terra Services Suite addresses the following challenges:
• Detection of presence of hydrocarbons and other minerals
• Lack of well control and other subsurface data
• Complicated geology
• Lack, absence, or poor quality of seismic and geophysical data

Just to name a few features, the Company’s services allow to:
• Work in under explored and “wild cat” areas
• Cover large license territories
• Uncover all, not just a few, potential anomalies
• Concentrate exploration efforts and funds in areas of highest potential reducing
work program and making the exploration process more efficient
• Confirm drillable targets
• Analyze investment opportunities remotely and discretely
• Work in environmentally and socially sensitive areas
• Predict presence of hydrocarbons and minerals in structures/anomalies
• Ascertain zones of open fracturing
• Determine the oil to water contact
• Determine oil/fluid saturation in reservoirs
• Schedule and monitor the hydraulic fracturing process
• Predict drilling complications
• Monitor field production and water flooding

Financials
The company has revenue and they are slowly moving in a positive direction since opening up full time operations here in the United States. The company is slowly making in roads and have signed some major contracts here for work. With these US operations handling the revenue projects of the company based on its global historical work, there should not be many concerns about the future

Financials	Sept 30, 2009	Dec 31, 2008
Assets	1,416,657	2,034,733
Revenue	2,054,704	13,000
Gross Profit	699,704	13,000
Net Profit (Loss)	(2,700,354)	(2,172,711)

Positives

•	The company has done work in the past for some very large Russian based oil and gas companies
•	The company is on the cutting edge for mapping and development of water in many African countries
•	They work in the natural resources sector especially mining will pay dividends in the future especially with the current price of precious metals
•	Stock price is very low for the work they are doing in comparison to the industry
•	They have very solid international and domestic press releases with legitimate companies
•	They provide a valuable services for the never-ending hunt for natural resources for hot commodities as gold, water and oil & gas

Why we like this stock
This company is doing everything right in the natural resources service sector. They have put lots of money and development into R&D. They have a stellar international reputation and are currently doing deals with strong legitimate companies. The stock price is very low and at the $0.03 range and should move back up to the $0.10 to $0.15 range within the next month. They are also in a business sector that will not be slowing down anytime soon.

1.	The all have the necessary ingredients for a successful future
2.	Proven technology
3.	Expertise and other streams of revenues in the same business
4.	International track record
5.	A plan

The company is building on their international success and are moving forward with a better grasp of operations based out of the US. There track record in dealing with the big players in Russia in the oil and gas business shows that they are for real. There most recent deal here in the US with Lucas Energy is another big thing that should not fly under the radar.

The company is also doing a great job of communicating with current and potential shareholders. Their website provides lots of information about what they do and who is their customer. A very technical company that is thorough and detailed in their actions. Their filings and requirements are on time and presented on numerous regular financial sites in a way that lets you know that the company really likes what they are doing. It seems they really take pride on what they are doing and it shows.

Stock
We started watching this stock in around mid early November 2009 and now we endorse it as a great buy. The volume needs to increase as the stock has huge potential to make money and should be at least $0.15

We have decided to make the switch from a website based stock tips, companies and stories to blog based financial information system. We have decided to embrace other forms of electronic communication such as Twitter. Here is more about us

Global Market Play is an independent research group that seeks out and examines newly formed public companies and underperforming stocks in markets that we understand. In our quest, we’ve found many affordable stocks that we feel have great potential.

Our Mission: To educate investors about good stocks as well as to provide them with all the required resources to make intelligent investments.

At Global Market Play, we are not paid or reimbursed by the companies we’ve profiled nor do we have any formal relationship with them.

Rather, we are investors that have learned to appreciate more than just the historical numbers. It’s an approach that may be out of step with the mainstream but we believe that while numbers are important, they don’t tell the whole story. We believe that numbers are the result of decisions made by company leaders when faced with market opportunities and challenges. We look for experienced leaders who have faced those challenges. Experience, we feel, doesn’t come without making a few mistakes along the way.

Like you, we have a network. In many respects, our network is similar to yours: friends and business colleagues all want to know where they can achieve a good return on their investment.

We talk and listen to people who look at trends, business and the past in a variety of industry. We look at the things that all the big people miss or do not want to see. We read financial statements and annual reports and regularly review blogs and talk with fellow investors for their take on things. Like you, it’s taken us some time to identify the pump and dump actors from serious investors.

WE’RE NOT FOLLOWERS

If we were followers, we’d have invested heavily into banks that thought sub-prime mortgages were the way to go. We steered clear when we had a chance.

Similarly, we stayed away from Enron and WorldCom. No, deliberately, we’ve focused on small companies who have an urgency to perform and survive. It’s there that you’ll find leaders working towards their dream, dressed in shirtsleeves who have sacrificed hours so that the families associated with their team have food for their family. We’ve been there ourselves.

OUR VALUE PROPOSITION

We want to share our success. Here, you won’t find a long-list of stocks. Here are a few that have caught our eye. So far, only 1 in 5 has been a dog for us. What we are doing is sharing our information with you.
